This section hosts various contents designed to show users concrete examples of automation strategies and what our thought process as designers of the automation platform as well as actual end-users of this platform was.
As a decision maker for the tooling of a project, you will hopefully find useful information allowing you to identify early what type of problems you may encounter if you go down the road of a certain automation strategy, and how we recommend solving these problems. We also implicitly try to argue “by example” (i.e with the support of concrete experience and evidence) why we believe our approach is, in our opinion, the best approach to use in each of the situations showcased here.
It is therefore important, that you, as a user, make sure to understand the initial hypotheses and that you are aware of the potential gaps between the situation showcased by us and your actual own situation, which of course, we are not aware of.
Each case study is also designed to link to a set of How To’s, allowing an engineer (the person tasked with the implementation of the automation strategy) to mimic the actual implementation which was used in said case study.
This way, we believe we are giving you both the “tools” to make the right decision (or avoid making a bad one) as well as those needed to actually implement a solution on your own.
